Diane Fisher
Facilitator/Workshop Presenter
Part cheerleader and part
creativity coach, Diane is no
stranger to creative challenges.
In 1992, after moving from the
midwest to live on an Indian
reservation in northern New
Mexico, Diane was fortunate
enough to meet Julia Cameron
the author of The Artist's Way,
soon after her wildly popular
book was published.
Needing a little creative nudging
of her own at the time, she joined
one of the first Artist's Way
groups formed in Santa Fe where
she met weekly with artists,
screenwriters, actors, painters,
sculptors, gallery owners, and
performers who all came
together to be part of this
amazing process. Since then,
Diane has attended and
facilitated a number of
creativity- centered Artist's Way
groups and keeps her artist
journals close at hand.
She has lived and worked in Des
Moines, Santa Fe, Atlanta and
Portland, and recently returned
to Kansas City, where she grew
up, to continue her creative
endeavors and share what she's
learned along the way.
